COVID-19 PCR travel testing in the Australian Capital Territory

Captial Pathology performs COVID-19 RT-PCR and IgM antibody screening for all travellers at select COVID-19 travel testing collection centres in the ACT and south east NSW.

It is essential that you check with your destination, transit country and airline for travel requirements and recommended timeframe in which you need to demonstrate a negative COVID-19 PCR test.


Ordering your COVID-19 travel test is a quick and simple three-step process.

  • COVID-19 PCR swab & IgM antibody $195 (AUD)*

Step 2 Have your sample collected

Step 3 Receive an SMS with your International COVID-19 travel report

Opening hours for our travel testing centres may vary over the Christmas holiday period.

Important things to know about ACT travel

Here are some frequently asked questions for travellers departing or arriving to ACT

Those travelling to ACT are not required to provide a negative COVID-19 test prior to their departure. However, vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers may be asked to undertake a COVID-19 test upon entry.* We recommend checking with your airline prior to entry, as some airlines require a negative COVID-19 test 72 hours before boarding.

If you order your test through Capital Pathology, you must have your sample(s) collected at one of our collection centres in the ACT and south east NSW.
